Pitta Dosha

Fresh fruits and vegetables, grains like rice, quinoa, spelt, barley, oats, milk, butter, ghee, meals rich in the bitter flavors, such as green, leafy vegetables, rhubarb, and rocket, and dairy products like butter and ghee are all great examples of cooling and refreshing tastes to favor.

Reduce your intake of acidic foods and drinks, such as vinegar, pickles, sour cream, hard cheeses, green grapes, pineapple, grapefruit, and alcoholic beverages (an occasional beer or white wine is often ok). The sour flavor’s fiery, airy, and greasy characteristics exacerbate pitta.
